At Devine’s we have a programme for development to reduce and improve the impact our day-to-day operations have on the environment and local community.
We run our business with family values amongst our team who share our commitment to continuous improvements in environmental performance and prevention of pollution wherever and whenever possible.
Employee involvement in environmental matters is encouraged at all levels and is promoted through training, communications and a constant reappraisal of working methods and techniques.
In particular Devine’s are involved in the following initiatives:
- Purchasing the most innovative environmentally sustainable technologies in luxury vehicles available to us. Devine’s have recently taken delivery of a new fleet of Mercedes S & E Class Blue Efficiency vehicles.
- We minimise the carbon footprint of our vehicle fleet with our chauffeur training programme in green driving techniques. We keep optimal maintenance on our vehicle fleet, with continual endeavours to operate our fleet at maximum utilisation to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Operating a company policy of “Reduce-Reuse-Recycle”, whereby we recycle office consumables such as paper, plastic and cans in association with Greener World recycling. All our paper and cardboard is taken to be pulped into recycled paper, our cans go to be recycled into new cans, and our plastic goes to be recycled into coat hangers and pens.
- We are also undertaking a programme of implementing full technology processes and booking tools to reduce the amount of paper used in our business.
